Russia's most comprehensive site devoted to biodiversity conservation issues is www.biodat.ru
The Ministry of Natural Resources, manages Russia's protected area system.
Finally, read a publication issued by the Russian Office of the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) on the legislation governing Russia's protected area system.
